Jensyn is the moniker of British session bassist, composer and producer Jennifer Morgan. Her signature sound blends dreamy melodies, emotive lyrics and refreshing harmony using a hybrid of acoustic and electronic instruments. After the success of her 2022 EP, 'I Wanna Be There', she received funding from Youth Music UK as part of their Next Gen Fund to embark on her next musical endeavour, 'January Left'. This 6-piece opus takes listeners on a journey through the sanctity of Jensyn’s innermost thoughts, and kicked off 2023 with the same momentum that saw her thrive in 2022.
Jensyn's refreshing and cinematic take on electronic indie pop has led her to compose for several short films, including the 'Act Now Film' (the official COP26 Youth Project), dark comedy, 'Manic Attacks' which won her the Jury Award for Best Score at the European Film Festival and LGBTQ+ romance 'Just Friends'.
She also plays bass in and around Liverpool for Bedroom Pop artist, Lazygirl, whose music is spreading across the city thanks to shows such as her performance at the 2023 Eurovision Village Festival.
